Text Snippets represent the simplest and most agile way to instruct your AI agent without publishing new website pages or exporting PDF manuals.

They are ideal for operational updates, seasonal announcements, and instructions that need to take effect immediately.

When to Use Text Snippets

  • Holiday Schedules: Announce office and warehouse closures during public or religious holidays.
  • Promo Codes & Flash Sales: Detail discount percentages, valid coupon codes, and expiration rules.
  • Shipping & Return Terms: Delivery fees, courier partners, cutoff times, and return windows.
  • Payment Instructions: Bank details, IBAN/SWIFT data, and wire transfer reference notes.
  • Custom Agent Directives: Tone of voice guidelines or instructions on routing high-priority escalations.

How to Add a Text Snippet

  1. Navigate to Knowledge Base → Text Snippets
    Click the + Add New Snippet button.

  2. Specify a Title
    Provide a recognizable heading (e.g. Labor Day Holiday Schedule or Free Shipping Policy).

  3. Enter Content
    Type or paste plain text or formatted Markdown (bullet lists, bold text, links).

  4. Save and Publish
    Click Save. The snippet is vectorized within 3 seconds and is immediately queried during live visitor conversations!
