WordPress & Shopify Integration

For teams powered by WordPress and Shopify, Pitaj.io delivers turnkey verified extensions that eradicate the need for manual theme template editing.

1. WordPress & WooCommerce Setup

  1. Access WordPress Dashboard
    Log in to your WordPress administration console.

  2. Install Plugin
    In the sidebar menu, click Plugins → Add New Plugin. In the search bar, type Pitaj.io, then click Install Now and Activate.

  3. Configure Widget ID
    Navigate to Settings → Pitaj.io. Paste your unique Agent Widget ID (e.g., wgt_abc123).

  4. Set Page Targeting Rules (Optional)
    Choose whether to suppress the widget on sensitive URLs (such as /checkout, /my-account, or specific landing pages).

  5. Save Preferences
    Click Save Changes. Your AI assistant is immediately functional across all pages!

2. Shopify Storefront Setup (Theme App Embed)

Shopify leverages modern Theme App Embeds, allowing instant activation with zero modifications to your theme.liquid code:

  1. Install Pitaj.io from Shopify App Store
    Search for Pitaj.io AI Concierge on the Shopify App Store and click Install App.

  2. Authorize Organization Linking
    Complete the one-click OAuth screen connecting your Shopify shop to your Pitaj.io workspace.

  3. Enable Theme App Embed

    • In Shopify Admin, open Online Store → Themes.
    • Click Customize on your published theme.
    • On the left sidebar navigation, click the App embeds icon tab.
    • Locate Pitaj Chat Widget and toggle the switch to Active (ON).

  4. Publish Theme
    Click Save in the top right corner. The widget is now live and serving storefront visitors!
