Avatar and Launcher Button

The floating launcher button is the primary entry point for visitor engagement on your web storefront. A well-placed launcher with an engaging call-to-action substantially boosts conversation volume.

Setting the Assistant Avatar

An avatar personifies your assistant and builds trust with your visitors.

  1. Navigate to Designer → Avatar & Launcher.
  2. Click the avatar upload field and select an image from your computer.
    • Supported Formats: PNG, JPG, WebP, or SVG.
    • Recommended Geometry: Square image with a minimum size of 256 x 256 px and a clean transparent or solid background.
  3. If no image is provided, Pitaj.io renders stylized geometric initials based on the assistant’s configured display name.

Launcher Configuration Options

The floating trigger button rests at the bottom corner of the browser window:

Icon Glyphs

Choose between a classic chat bubble (MessageSquare), AI sparkles (Sparkles), or your own uploaded SVG company emblem.

Text Pill Badge

Append an expandable text pill alongside the circular button (e.g. “Ask our AI” or “Need help ordering?”).

Notification Chimes & Unread Badges

Ensure visitors never miss an incoming answer while multitasking across browser tabs:

  • Notification Chime: A subtle, polite audio chime triggered upon response completion. Can be toggled on or off anytime.
  • Unread Counter Badge: A vibrant numeric badge overlaying the launcher reminds returning visitors of awaiting messages.
